We are a family run and family-owned business, with our Head Office located in Aylesford Kent, who are importers and distributors of all aspects of bathroom products, and we are looking for a motivated individual with a desire to progress within our Purchasing team.
The role requires interaction with our suppliers in the UK and abroad, as well as liaising with our internal teams, communicating stock availability and delivery dates.
No product knowledge is required to pick up this role quickly, but a fair understanding of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
Ultimately the position requires the ordering and delivery arrangement of set product groups into our Kent and Nottinghamshire warehouses. As the role progresses there will be the opportunity to be involved in product design, product development, sample analysis and factory visits.
Working within a Purchasing team of 4, who already have very good product and procedural knowledge, the department are responsible for all goods purchased by the company. Each member of the team is specifically responsible for a set group of suppliers. This gives a great opportunity to build strong relationships with our supplier contacts and work closely with our partner factories to improve our own stock availability and efficiencies.
